The Center for Emotional and Behavioral Health is a caring mental health system treating children, adolescents, and adults. Our program is designed to offer quality mental health care in an environment where comprehensive medical care is always available:


The Center offers free 24-hour, seven-day-a-week assessments for mental health and chemical dependency issues. Based on the information given in the assessment, out trained professional staff will make appropriate recommendations and assist in accessing the community services that best meet the identified needs.


Child and Adolescent Psychiatric: The Center provides outpatient treatment for children, adolescents and their families by licensed professionals. Outpatient services include individual, group and family therapy addressing issues such as family conflicts, school and peer conflict, depression and attention deficit disorder.


The Center provides inpatient services to children, adolescents and adults. The multi-disciplinary team approach is utilized for assessment and development of individual treatment objectives which include the patient and the family. The focus of this setting is assessment, safety and stabilization. Therapeutic interventions include group therapy, individual psychotherapy, activity therapy, medication management cialis generique pills, psychoeducational groups and behavior management.


As part of Indian River Memorial Hospital's realm of services, the Center is able to provide a wide range of support services including a full complement of diagnostic services.


Drug Free Work Place Services: The Center For Emotional And Behavioral Health offers a number of services to help local businesses establish and maintain a drug free work place. The services include education & prevention, drug screening and medical review officer services.

Employee Assistance Program: The Center Provides EAP services, staffed by licensed professionals, to area businesses. This program offers employers prevention and intervention services with additional resources to maintain an emotionally and physically healthy workplace through supervisory and drug-free workplace training.

Community Education: The Center is committed to providing education to the community on a variety of mental health and substance abuse topics. The Brown Bag Lunch Series, The Community Education Series and Professional Education Seminars feature local and nationally known speakers. The Center offers community groups a well-rounded speakers' bureau to address their education needs.

The Executive ROPES Challenge Course: Our indoor-outdoor of 47 physical initiatives provides experience-based learning that creates a positive impact on communication skills, trust, confidence, relationship building, self-esteem and creativity. The program is used as a therapeutic tool with inpatient groups and is used by community groups of all ages.

Camp Manatee: The Camp Manatee Summer Camping Program has been designed to serve the needs of children with Attention Deficit Disorder and enable them to have a positive summer camping experience with their peers. The program was developed for children six to twelve years of age. Camp activities include: ROPES, swimming, dance, games, field trips, arts and crafts, ecology, music, drama and sports.
